How to tone down a bright turquoise coat
I am very passionate about fashion design and was offered a free photo
shoot from a friend who is a photography major; l will model clothes l
have constructed myself, and he will benefit from them for his portfolio.
The only requirement is that l have to use at least ONE of the fabrics he
picks out. l looked them over and picked out a very bright
turquoise plaid wool fabric for a coat. Now, he paid for the fabric, but I
am making it without fee; l keep the coat. My question is how can l wear such a bright color without looking silly?
Wear a black or tan leather belt around the waist of it, and it
will look perfect with either black or dark blue skinny jeans or black
tights and black heels, you definitely won't look silly in it as long as
you don't make yourself feel silly in it. keep the clothes underneath
quite plain - whites, greys, blacks and dark blues (denim) and it will
look fantastic! (:

Concentrate on your hair style and makeup, and change your
mental attitude and you will certainly not look silly. You confidence will
shine through.
wear black skinny jeans, just be confident.. i had a bright
yellow coat and was embarrased at first but then i wore it with confidence
and got loads of compliments!
